Myself, Spaceman, and our techies have been hard at work improving the site for you, our members. Speaking of members, we have reached 50, which, was among one of our main goals at the start of the site. We hope that this number will continue to grow as we continue to update the site. One of our main, new additions to the site is our interview with Trevor Hurley of The Fillers. Our hope is that interviews will become a frequent addition to Mojave Rain. (Your suggestions for interviews ar...

The year 2010 is going to be a dry year for Killers fans. Sure, they have the Asia and Australia shows, but after that, nothing. I’m not saying they shouldn’t take a break just because we say so. They deserve a long break, they’ve been busy pretty much non-stop since they started touring. I hope we get at least a new Christmas single, but even that seems doubtful. I’m willing to bet they won’t start recording to 2011, late 2010 at the earliest. Which means, they ...

2009: A Killer Odyssey

Posted by Electromark on December 16, 2009 at 10:14 PM Comments comments (2)

In the beginning of 2009, the Day & Age Tour had just begun not months ago.  Little did we know, it would change some of our lives forever. Some of us got hooked on TK this year, others saw them live for the first time, some for the tenth time. Whatever the year meant to you, we can all agree that it was a great year for The Killers and Victims alike.

2009 was mostly a tour year for TK. They spent a lot of time on the road, never failing to please at their shows. E...

RAH Review *Spoilers*

First off, I saw the movie in theaters, and it was amazing. They had it ridiculously loud, so loud that Ronnie's drum shook my bones. But I’m not complaining. Second, we got to see every last bit of footage, which I know most theaters didn’t show.

Now, about the show itself. They opened with human, which is the staple opener for this tour, and what can I say, it was wonderful. This Is Your Life was very good, I always thought that it was a good second song. Also, seeing the...

The stache is back, with a friend

Posted by Mr. Mojave on November 7, 2009 at 12:03 PM Comments comments (3)

Thats right, its back, and fuller and darker than ever! The Sam's town stache has made a comeback, only this time, it isn't alone. The under the nose wonder now has an around the chin  companion. Is this a Novembeard, or is this something bigger? Perhaps a sign that The Killers will return to their Sam's Town roots? We can all hope and wish, and maybe our desires will come true. The moustache that Brandon wore while performing Sam's Town became a staple for the a...

Forget About What I Said

I know this is really late, almost a year late. But, I can't help but mention that I love 'Forget About What I Said'. It's the most Hot Fuss sounding soung they've had since, well, Hot Fuss. It's such a catchy tune too, the best lyrics in the song are "The galaxy sings your song, and tonight I sing along". I don't have this song unfortunately, I've heard it through YouTube. The reason for this is because I didn't want to get Day & Age off iTunes, I wanted the hard copy of it, to add to my...
